Today we will tell you the story of Hirokatsu, about his love that lasted until death.
Sumo, is a very famous, japanese art, the people that practice this art, must do a very hard program, since childhood it's not only a fight, but they choose it as part of their lives. Hirokatsu started to practice Sumo, since middle school thanks to his continuos effort he became a professional Sumo wrestler, but without becoming famous.
He was 20 years old, when he met a girl at the same age the two of them fall in love immediatly, but the shyness of Hirokatsu and his constat Sumo practice, they couldn't always be together.
Although the girl did accompany him in his tournament, and she said to him, that she wants to marry him, the two of them decided to wait for love. She was 20, when she visited a tournament, where he lost.
Before saying goodbye, she said to him, that she will return to Osaka, with her parents that travelled with her. He said that he will return back with he Shinkansen (high speed train) from Osaka to Tokyo he promised her, that he will call right when he arrives back home, in Tokyo. But that call never arrived. His mates watched TV in the hall, during the retreat, when the news of a plane crashing came, the one flying from Osaka to Tokyo, 520 where the passenger, a lot of them where dead and a lot of them where missing. They said the names, so that the population knew who was missing, and they also the identification of the cadavers The names of the girl and her parents where announced The mates ran to Hirokatsu, and he couldn't believe it.
He said that his girl took he train and not the plane!
So, he tried to call her, but she never answer the phone.
After the identification of the body, Hirokatsu recieved her personal accessories and also an album of memories. The girl did collect all articles and pictures about her boyfriend, adding hope notes to the pictures, where he was on. Since that day, Hirokatsu did regret that he didn't married her, when there was the possibility.
From that day, every year at her birthday, he visited her grave.He dedicated all of his time in Sumo, so that he didn't feel the loss but he never became a champion.
He retired quite early, and he opened a restaurant in Osaka, because of a stroke, he lost almost all use of the word and he worked really hard to achieve an autonomous mobility but also with that problem, he never missed a year to visit the girl's grave every birthday he died alone at just 50 The girl was his first girlfriend, his first love and also the last one.
Friends and old Sumo mates, did say that he looked happy, when he died Finally he could reunite with his love This is a true story! I know it sounds to romantic, but it's true that Hirokatsu loved his girlfriend, for all his life.

Oggi vi narrerò la storia di Kakuta Hirokatsu e del suo amore durato oltre i confini della morte.
Kakuta Hirokatsu inizia a seguire la via del Sumo durante le scuole medie e grazie al suo costante impegno già da giovanissimo divenne un lottatore professionista non raggiungendo tuttavia mai la fama.
Aveva quasi vent'anni quando conobbe una ragazza della stessa età e i due si innamorarono l'uno dell'altra immediatamente ma il carattere timido ed il costante e l'impegno profuso nel Sumo di Kakuta Hirokatsu impedirono ai due di stare spesso insieme nonostante la ragazza lo seguisse sovente nei suoi tornei e gli avesse dichiarato di volerlo sposare presto.
I due decisero di aspettare per coronare il loro amore. Lei aveva 20 anni esatti quando un giorno lo andò a trovare dopo un torneo che lui perse e durante il periodo di riposo, prima di salutarsi in modo che Kakuta Hirokatsu potesse tornare ai suoi allenamenti, lei gli disse che sarebbe tornata Osaka coi genitori, anch'essi venuti in viaggio con lei e sarebbe tornata usando lo shinkansen il treno superveloce che collega Tokyo, dove lui si trovava, con Osaka.
Gli promise di telefonargli appena arrivata a casa ma quella chiamata non giunse mai e i compagni di Kakuta Hirokatsu stavano guardando la tv nella sala comune del ritiro quando giunse la notizia di un aereo sulla rotta a Tokyo - Osaka precipitato tra le montagne.
520 erano i passeggeri, molti erano morti e altri, al momento dispersi. Vennero resi noti i nomi di modo che la popolazione aiutasse nelle ricerche e nell'identificazione dei cadaveri.
I nomi della ragazza e dei suoi genitori vennero annunciati. I compagni corsero da Kakuta Hirokatsu ma egli rifiutò di accettare la verità. La sua ragazza non aveva preso l'aereo, era sul treno. Provò e riprovò a telefonarle nessuno mai rispose alle sue chiamate. Dopo l'identificazione dei corpi Kakuta Hirokatsu ricevette alcuni effetti personali della ragazza tra i quali un album di ricordi la giovane aveva collezionato. Ogni articolo e foto riguardante il suo fidanzato, scrivendo come noti i suoi sogni speranze i migliori auguri di riuscire nel suo sogno.
Kakuta Hirokatsu non si perdonò mai di non averla sposata quando ne aveva avuto la possibilità.
Ogni anno da allora visitò la di lei tomba nel luogo dell'incidente in concomitanza del compleanno della sua fidanzata e si impegnò anima e corpo nel Sumo per non vanificare la perdita ma non divenne mai un campione.
Si ritirò piuttosto giovane aprendo un piccolo ristorante ad Osaka e, a causa di un ictus, perse quasi del tutto l'autonomia.. Tuttavia non smise mai di presentarsi al cospetto del luogo dove la fanciulla era morta compleanno dopo compleanno.
Morì che aveva appena 50 anni e solo la giovane era stata la sua prima ragazza il suo primo amore ed era stata anche l'ultima.
Amici ed ex compagni del Sumo affermarono che da morto aveva un aspetto sereno; finalmente poteva ricongiungersi col suo amore.
Questa è una storia vera, certo qualcosa potrebbe essere stato romanzato ma è sicuro che Kakuta Hirokatsu abbia amato per tutta la vita la sua unica ragazza visitando ogni anno la sua tomba.
Era il 1985 e ancora esisteva il vero amore.
